The new QCB garden annexe comes complete with "A" rated double glazing which is as secure and safe as your home.

It is thermally equivalent to triple glazing due to the gases used between the glazing.

Alex Booth designed the new garden annexe which is craneable and therefore does not need planning permission...

Every garden annexe or granny annexe needs a mains electric supply.

This is usually ran from the house or sometimes a nearby garage if that is more convenient.

Our electrician, Rob Booth, runs a seperate smaller consumer unit from the main house consumer unit, so that it's an independant supply.

He then runs the armoured cable from this consumer unit to a small box on the side of your garden annexe and this powers up all the interior lights, double sockets and boiler.

Rob then tests the whole annexe installation for safety and issues a Part P certificate for you.
