24' x 8' Annexe — Bedroom, Kitchen & Bathroom

I'm here with Alex and what's the story here Alex we've got an annex yeah another annex it's rebuilding a lot of now this is a 24 by 8 annex 7 320 by 240 it's tightly into the garden as you can see it's got fair sized garden right up in the corner so it's not taking up a lot of space in the garden utilizing all the space and the aircon is admissible as well as you can see okay can you give me a little tour on this one we've got one and a half walls limited the windows [Music] you see we do a granny ax a little bit smaller than this so what we were looking at is it could two people live in here and they came because this is so Gino well this is a holiday home that we bought for ourselves and for our workers and they all come down and they all love it and we decided to put the studio in the corner the testing cuz it you know we read silently other day - I really do you try your own products you know so we thought you know I'll live in it for a day or a living it for nine but you know I lived in this with five five and a half days last week we got the best position because it just works does work it's so relaxing so that was you and Karen there was a Karen my wife yet so we stayed in it five and a half days and it was just so easy and so nice so it's compact chairs so we could sing chat there's a chance there yeah we use the projector TV to project videos and TV onto the wall so we spent five days in him you obviously won't help one of the things what we did do is cook a lot okay and you use the kitchen in the Annex yeah so this is the bedroom and there's a bedroom unit there so what we've got in here is two chairs like cabinets double bed and the double beds got a storage as well isn't it double beds got storage which is another conversation single stories their storage here so for two of you yep so right - I mean we were here on holiday mode accepted but if you were single living here that's more than enough space yeah suppose stuff and if you downsize all your stuff you know it made me realize you don't need big hammers just downsizing I could quite happily live in one of these no worries yeah yeah and then there's a kitchen here yeah so one of the things that we are gonna discuss is you IKEA you can't beat that prices and the quality of the products you know if somebody asked me to make him a set of shelves I couldn't buy the wood for the price that IKEA sell you that the shelves for so that's why we've used IKEA chair an Ikea bed as well isn't an IKEA bed I mean this is the world-famous IQ Kia Billy bookshelf and they reckon there's one of these sold every five seconds in the world so that's why they competitively priced yes you know and we've adjusted things within our studio to let my Kia stuff to accommodate it yeah because that's you know what you pay for that yeah so the table and chairs so going around the room and then we've got the microwave yeah what we've got is here we've got microwave oven grill okay I know nothing Yeah right okay and we've got the fridge freezer Wow pretty fridge things are done the bomb reliever so obviously we couldn't do our eating area and now we've got this area so cattle microwave fridge freezer and then this is quite good what a frying pan okay look at it and then you can't use that so we cooked quite a lot of stuff in there we didn't struggle one bit right so that's instead of like you've got an induction hob in here as well again an induction hole so you need an induction pot so that way you want cook what you want with it so you've got you grill but your oven you got your induction pot and you've got your frying pan again for two people or one people you know obviously not going to sort of dinner party in here yeah for that you put everything that you need to cook yep you think ha ha I mean one of the things that you can do is you can these cupboards below you can swap them for washing machines tumble dryers dishwashers if you chose to okay but that's up to yourself is whether you want to do that we don't need a washing machine in here in most instances the house will have the washing machine your main tanks remember this is an annex yes it's part of an existing house that's how it passes all the planning laws and Caravan Act but you can't have it so it's a totally separate wedding yeah it has to be ancillary to the main a tilde to the building doesn't it yeah storage in here and then a string which you've seen a hundred times the same same bathroom sink toilet boiler covered fan heater which got very good comments from Maria and Yolanda yes be customers we visited recently yeah important mirror and the shower yeah again IKEA just just can't be the prices you know you go in the end look at the pool we can't compete this can't be well it's like you say you can't buy the materials now you can so what they're selling it so I mean obviously they don't do these buildings so it made sense to us why don't we incorporate IKEA stuff into our buildings yeah you know and adjust certain sizes that they use 800 mil for example is the size that they use twelve hundred and ten mil is the size that they use so we've made walls 1200 10 mil walls 400 mil to accommodate this yeah walls 800 million yep and this is your sitting area with a couple of windows yeah lots of nice daylight please nice as I said we start here eating playing Trivial Pursuit and they had breakfast in aunty yeah every day we didn't bother go out to eat and it was wonderful yeah thank you for that
