here I'm with Alex we've just come back to a studio which was installed about a week or two ago Alex it's a 15t by9 QC looks lovely looks really nice I'm just I just wanted to discuss the fact that we put prices on the website what does that include everything really uh there is a list of additions additions are things that you wouldn't ordinarily get in a studio like a roof light uh an air condition I conditioning unit heater you might want a sunken floor for a running machine you know they would have to be specifically asked for but what we include in the studio is you get the basic Studio which has got all your windows all your walls all your floor coverings all your skirs all your trims it's all installed delivered and fitted there's no hidden cost so if you want the lighting inside lighting yeah includes the lighting the electrics the consumer unit probably the one thing it doesn't include that you should know is the hookup of the electrics the electric has got to be brought up from the house to here so yeah that's what they've done there then they've dug a trench they've dug a trench they've had a trench now it's reason we don't give you a price for that we can give you a price for that CU we don't know you know if you take this house for example that's 100t away if you were 20t away it' be a different price whereas a consuming unit in the house we don't know so we don't give you a price on it we give you a price everything included price that we show you on the internet is a working functional office the day we finish you could move in and start working if you've got your electrics wired in right okay there isn't all I need a floor and all I need a skirt and all I need this so everything is included okay what's the situation with the internal finish because that's is it a white wallpaper what you've got is a white finished wallpaper which you can we can if you can request us to decorate it if you want what we were find and we going back and customers we were decorating it but we were going back and customers had painted it their own color their own touch so we found it we were actually wasting our time painting it because we weren't really helping the situation so you need to give the inside walls a cat of paint right but we can do that if you want to if you time need a quote for that yeah that become an addition great the walls are finished to quite high standard a lot of people don't even touch them they just leave them as they are right okay that's lovely thanks for that

another question Alex you've actually is it have you stopped supplying Timber Studios yeah yeah a bit uh controversial with them that's quite radical isn't it yeah it's a bit controversial with the sales team because they do still sell Timber ones it's not controversial with the fitting team or the service engineer because they're just not as good you know I'd like to say they're as good I mean I like Timber love the smell of Timber I was brought up with Timber these these products are so well engineered you know the steel you know they fold it within the millimeter the uh Windows within the millimeter they not draft proof they're not drafty Timber Windows move the timber needs maintenance it's just hard work it's quite a big decision to stop making them it wasn't it wasn't it so it's the right decision because these building the timber Builders don't compare how can we say these buildings are a lot better when we actually do timber buildings you know we can't slag off Timber buildings cuz we do timber buildings so I thought it's time to get rid of Timber Builders cuz you know I was on the phone to customers and they I'd rather have a t Timber building and I spent all my time trying to persuade them not to have a Timber building they're just they're just not as good or efficient they don't blend in as well you know Timber I don't know it isn't a tree it's the inside of a tree it doesn't look like a tree it looks like a Timber building so it impacts on the garden hugely it's usually not the right color with this we can get it whatever color you want it you know dark green it stays dark green ain't dark green green the day we paint it and then fading it's the same color in 11 years as it was the day you got it Timber you paint a Timber window lovely but within a year and a half he's painted again right okay okay well I just wondered that so that's great thank you

as see in here I'm with Alex Alex how does the cost of the studios compare to say a brick built building you know if somebody wanted a brick built uh equivalent space in their Garden uh well that's a brick building so uh similar size to this building that's here so so how how would the costs and and what are the implications of a brick building that you wouldn't have with your studio well a brick we built this in a day that would take probably best part of a month to build a month yeah guess time you do the brick work dig out the foot the ground the ground that you'd have to take away before You' even started you know digging out your take ground away or digging out your foots and your foundations putting down your uh your strip foundation and your oversight which is your concrete floor and you screed and you brick work all the insulation of course the bottom line is do does the next person want that building you know life's Ever Changing you know who would have thought that all these people have been working at home you know there's a garage it's a single garage it was built as a single garage for a huge house it's now not suitable for its purpose it needs to be a triple garage so people got three cars so what you're saying there is that that if that garage becomes obsolete what are your choices it's already become obsolete just doesn't match the house but this building is adaptable it's going to so so you have to demolish it start again say say this chap here decided to employ two people you could phone us up and extend this building no problem so I'll extend it I want to make it a little bit bigger or could you sell this building I'm going to go for a bigger one so he'll realize his asset and invest in another one there brick building it's very hard to extend and move so with this it's it's adaptability really the fact that it's mobile it's and presumably like you're saying if it took a month to build that that's expensive cuz you got laborers in there for 30 days the labor is the most expensive part of the building you know on a building like this I guess you're talking 20% 20 22 23% of the cost of this building is labor on a building like that you're probably getting up to you know 60% I would have thought was Labor so and 30 days is a lot more than you know you're going to pay 150 pound a day for a a good brick layer you know just add that up you know it's a lot of and you'll do you know nowadays a build would do everything put the roof on do the brick work do the foundation so you're going to be paying £150 a day you know that's what we pay our our chaps you know to put in a good Hard Day's Work start adding it up into 10 12 days it becomes a huge figure yeah our building is one day really to put up so you know they're happy with the money we're happy with the the building right okay thank you

yeah Alex I just wanted to do a little video about the fact that Studios don't need a concrete foundation no what they do is they sit on they sit on padstones uh if the ground's really soft what we do is we put a plastic uh grid under there with hardcore and then you s these pad stones with the pad stone is a little bit of engineering a little bit that we have the engineered with a threaded bar we can wind up so uh we can wind that up and then on the threaded bar there more adjustments so we can adjust up to a meter actually so if I mean where we are today it was fairly level but you're saying that even if it was really sloped it's not a problem we can accommodate that slope and you don't have to buy any concrete no there's no concrete involved at all what it what it is is basically is a mobile building that's sitting on uh padstones that are sitting on uh further pads if required and uh they're all adjustable so we can adjust them up if if dindra was to move and she moved to a garden that was slope she could take the building with her she and and can you still compensate for that slope at the new place the uh corner post are telescopic so the corner post is the thing that would cover that up they they can they slide inside each other extend so they're telescoping right so this building could be moved probably within 2 days and recited in exactly the same way it is in another garden and even though like dindra has got kitchen and bathroom is it still portable yeah I know that the idea of it it's all it's all movable as well okay well that's fantastic thank you
