Diane's beauty business — out of the kitchen, into the garden
Garden Studio
Diane moved her beauty business out of the kitchen and into a garden studio, allowing her to grow her client base and services.
Diane ran her beauty business from her kitchen until she moved it into a dedicated garden studio — a change that allowed the business to grow significantly.
With a professional, separate space, she has been able to expand her client base and broaden the range of treatments she offers, delivering them in a setting that feels like a proper salon rather than a corner of the home.
Her story is a clear example of how the right business infrastructure — a dedicated, professional space just steps from the house — can have a direct, positive impact on a growing business.

watch yourself it's not snow around here i'm wearing material shoes in this wet weather so this is where your base now this is where i'm based now yeah um and since i've had it since may i've probably quadrupled in size what the number of customers yeah yeah yeah so um everything's so much easier now i'm not pulling stuff out on a daily basis and putting it back because you've got a day job as well i do yeah i work full time so you're doing this in the evening yeah brilliant the bonus of this is like i say in the kitchen i had to put things out for a particular night that i was doing stuff but i don't want to have that out all night then pull it away the nails would have to do the same thing as in this i can just get on with it every day without worrying about getting all the stuff back out and so it's brilliant for me and in actual fact a lot of customers that come here say you'd never think it was a studio in my back garden when they're in here they actually feel like it's a salon right so it's definitely improved my business no end well that's fantastic thanks for that
